Please call before bringing donations so we can be sure someone will be available at the shelter.
There are many other ways to donate to Rainbow Place.
We accept monetary donations as well as in kind donations of food and supplies.
Approximately 40% of our annual budget comes from in kind donations.
Monetary donations are used for facility maintenance, staff funding, to purchase
food, paper, cleaning products, shelter supplies, and bus tokens.
Forever Stamps, Gift Cards to Sam's Club and Staples are always helpful and
appreciated.
Food Accepted Year Round:
Individually Wrapped Snacks (Chips, Cookies, Crackers, Granola Bars), Shelf Stable Juices (Apple, Cranberry, and Grape),
Instant Hot Cocoa (Packets), Instant Oatmeal, Breakfast Cereal, Instant Coffee - Decaf (Large Can), Powdered Coffee Creamer,
Individually Wrapped Cups of Mixed Fruit, Pudding or Applesauce, Canned Goods, such as mixed vegetables, carrots, green
beans, lima beans, tomatoes, baked beans, cans of tuna fish and chicken, beef stew, and Vienna sausages
